ORDER of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
- Have you ever thought about becoming Catholic?
- Are you Catholic, but did not receive all the sacraments?
- Are you a fully initiated Catholic who has been away from the Church?
- Simply searching for meaning in life?
Then OCIA is the place to start!
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process used by the Catholic Church to present the beliefs of our Faith to those adults who have made a conscious decision to explore coming into full communion with the Church. You have an opportunity to ask questions, to pray, to grow in community, and to learn more about the Catholic Church. Throughout the OCIA process, there are moments where you will have the chance to make increasing levels of commitment towards becoming Catholic. But to start, all you need is a healthy curiosity about Jesus and an openness to the Holy Spirit! Read more here.
Sessions are held August to May on Wednesday evenings at the parish. Registration for our 2025-2026 session is closed, but we are here to assist you on your faith journey or share information about the next session. Want more information? Contact us here.
