This will be my 26th year of teaching first grade at St. Matthew School and my 35th teaching year in the Peoria Diocese. I'm a proud alumnus of St. Matthew. My undergraduate degree in Elementary Education is from Illinois State University and in May 2022 I earned a Master's degree in Reading from Eastern Illinois University. My family includes my husband, John, my son and two daughters, two sons-in-law, and our dog. I'm excited to become a grandparent this fall! Time away from teaching is spent with family, reading, and traveling. I love teaching at St. Matthew and being able to share my faith and help to build a strong educational foundation with first graders.
