I was born and raised in Champaign, attended SIU for my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education and the University of Illinois for my Master's degree. I taught History at Centennial High School for seven years until my first son Jack was born. After my second son Max entered Pre K, I went back to Centennial and taught in a variety of departments including English, Special Education, and PE. I have been teaching PE at St. Matthew for four years. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband John, sons Jack & Max, and my four legged bestie, Reggie.
